We finished the fencing on the sides of the property.

Front Porch Ceiling

We installed the galvanized panel ceiling on the front porch

 

We installed 2 ceiling fans on the front porch

 

Interior Garage Walls

Installed Hardie Siding on the wall between the house and garage.



 

Living room ceiling

We framed the 14 foot high gabled living room ceiling will actually be cover with galvanized sheet metal roofing and a wood beam down the center

 

Kitchen

Kitchen will have a large island

More Framing

We installed the joists that will support the second floor bonus area and third full bath (sometime in the future).  For now, the second floor will only be used for storage.

Powder Bath

Powder bath is set up as a temporary bathroom in the building during construction.

Construction Continues

Lorrie and I continue to do all the work ourselves, that includes the framing, electrical, plumbing, metal work and fencing and additional rock work.  We will likely be installing the drywall with a little help and then we will tape n float, texture and paint ourselves as well  as installing all the doors, trim, cabinets and flooring.  Considering we are only working on weekends and the occasional extra day or so we are actually further along then we thought we would be.
